1. Book early :

Well ‘The early bird gets the worm’ has not been said without any reason. It holds true in most of the cases and certainly in this one. If you book your bus ticket early, there is a good chance that you will get an early bird discount and it will also save you a lot of time. In fact, if you wait for the last day to book your tickets, then you might have to pay a lot more than the actual cost, and you will not get the seat of your choice.

2. Luxury without the cost :

India is a home to many luxurious buses that are wallet-friendly at the same time. If you are meticulous in your search for deals then you can get tickets at extremely reasonable rates.

3. Senior citizens concession :

Always keep in mind that as per government norms, senior citizens are entitled to discounts are more comfortable seats on public transport. It is important to carry a valid age proof if you are applying for a senior citizen discount.

4. Babies, children and defence personnel also travel for less:

While, more often than not, tickets are absolutely free for babies, children (aged 4 – 11) years have to pay only half of the actual amount. The defence personnel are also given tickets on discounted rates.

5. Choose the front seats for a friendly ride :

One perk of booking early is that you get to choose seats as per your convenience, and it is always better to choose front seats so as to reduce the impact of jerks during the journey.
